Check out my Instagram!
I was scanning through Pinterest for something to draw and came across this picture of Holly Rose Emery. I find this picture to be very haunting and intriguing and immediately decided to draw it.
So, a bit about the model. Holly Rose Emery is 16 years old (like me), from the land of Kiwis. And very beautiful in my opinion, I can’t really start drawing someone if I don’t have some kind of crush on them, so yeah. The picture was taken by Nicole Bentley for Vogue Australia August 2013.
Here are some of my work in progress pictures.
I usually do a very rough sketch to determine where everything is in general. And then I slowly correct things as I draw, I’m not one of those artist who have to have their sketch proportioned before starting to work, I wish I am but I’m not patient enough, haha.
Oh and don’t forget the reference picture! I usually set my reference picture to black and white for easier drawing.

First of all, I have to say the past few days have been very hectic! I started the week with my last day of final exams, and by the end of the day I lay dead in bed. The next day I had to wake up very early to go the the fabric market to buy stuff to make a Betty Boop costume, which is the character I decided to go as to a costume party.
After a very quick trip around fabric market I went back home and started my super-top-speed-non-stop-killer-machine-sewing mode. And by the end of the day I almost finish the whole dress. Being sleep deprived from the whole ‘exam season’, I went to bed early only to wake up the next day to complete the dress, wash it, iron it and then go to help my friend prepare his costume (which by the way took ages!)
As you can see my friend went as the Avatar and you can still see traces of blue ink on my hands and arms.
So, the night was a BLAST (but I don’t want to bomb you with so many pictures, haha)! The food was enjoyable, the activities was fun, everything was just perfect!
Now, I got to go dip my feet in warm water to help with my foot ache (seriously, how do other girls manage to wear high heels for hours without getting sore is a total mystery…) but here’s a little sneak peek of something I’ve been working on. 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤
Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world on the 14th of February every year. It’s the international day of ‘Love’. To some it’s just another day out of 365 days (or 366) but to others it’s another excuse to show their lovey-dovey-ness and shower their significant other with gifts, flowers, chocolates, teddy bears etc. I probably fall into the first category as I’m very happy with no boyfriend and relieved of all the ups-downs that comes with a relationship. And since today is also Makha Bucha Day I have no school, which means I get to stay at home and prepare for my finals. Yippee (*roll eyes*)!
Even though you probably think I’m anti-valentine
which I probably am ,haha idk, I did make an Valentine inspired illustration (or more like doodle). My original plan was to make cute greeting cards (note: plural) AND stickers to go with each card (how dare I think I had enough time). However, I ran out of time and end up doing only one set of stickers, sorry… :’-(
I know that I’m very late in posting this and I’m terribly sorry that I didn’t finish this sooner. But I do hope you find another occasion to use these (maybe on your anniversary/friend’s b-day/next year’s Valentines or something). Also check out my fashion illustration from last year’s Valentine’s day.
To download this: First, click on the picture to get a larger and more detailed picture. Save/Open and print on card stock, sticker paper or just normal paper. You can either use it as sticker decorations or punch a hole, add a ribbon and make them into tags.
Hope you enjoy! ❤ If you like my work follow me and have a lovely day!
Kiss Hugs Kiss Hugs, Icie
So, I sketched this the other day because I couldn’t sleep and decide to color it with pastels and watercolor. As you can see I’m very obsessed with sunflowers right now… so you might see more of them in my work.
Also, I’m almost finish with my sophomore year, only 2 weeks left! I can’t believe it, I feel like it was just a few months ago that I became a high school student. Time flies by fast but I got to admit I’m pretty excited too! Because next year I won’t have to take anymore
head-explodes-I-can’t-take-it-anymore science, no more biology/chemistry/physics!!! And because I won’t be taking anymore science classes I should have loads more time to draw, paint and sew! YAY!!!
Hope you guys have a great week and take care! 🙂 ❤ Also if you like my work follow me for updates!
This picture is a combination of two of my favorite things: Sunflowers and my cat, Dot.
Dot is the 3rd alien sent from the mothership to explore Earth… 😄 He is actually a kitten that got abandon in my house’s backyard when he was just about 2-3 weeks old. He’s now 6 months old and his most favorite past time is probably bullying Latte (my dog). He enjoys exploring and climbing trees very much, hates taking photos and staying still. (It was very hard to take a photo for a reference picture I had to take a video.)

I found Oh Land through Facebook and because of the unique name+album cover I decide to look her up on Youtube… And BAM she’s my new addiction! I can’t stop replaying her 3 albums. Her genre is indie pop (which I like very much) and she has a way of singing that just make me can’t stop listening to her. If you’re a fan of Florence and the Machine/ Lana Del Ray/ Birdy/Foxes then you should definitely check her out! ><

There’s currently a protest in Thailand, and the area around my school is where the protester gather… so I haven’t been to school for ages (and I actually miss school T^T) Since there’s so much stuff going on in Bangkok my family went on a short holiday. 😄 We went to Huahin (which you definitely have to visit if you ever decide to come to Thailand) and enjoyed ourselves, especially me (temporally forgot that I have final exams when school opens). And… This is something I drew on my trip! 🙂 My mom’s sandals -3-
