Check out my Instagram!
I was scanning through Pinterest for something to draw and came across this picture of Holly Rose Emery. I find this picture to be very haunting and intriguing and immediately decided to draw it.
So, a bit about the model. Holly Rose Emery is 16 years old (like me), from the land of Kiwis. And very beautiful in my opinion, I can’t really start drawing someone if I don’t have some kind of crush on them, so yeah. The picture was taken by Nicole Bentley for Vogue Australia August 2013.
Here are some of my work in progress pictures.
I usually do a very rough sketch to determine where everything is in general. And then I slowly correct things as I draw, I’m not one of those artist who have to have their sketch proportioned before starting to work, I wish I am but I’m not patient enough, haha.
Oh and don’t forget the reference picture! I usually set my reference picture to black and white for easier drawing.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤
Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world on the 14th of February every year. It’s the international day of ‘Love’. To some it’s just another day out of 365 days (or 366) but to others it’s another excuse to show their lovey-dovey-ness and shower their significant other with gifts, flowers, chocolates, teddy bears etc. I probably fall into the first category as I’m very happy with no boyfriend and relieved of all the ups-downs that comes with a relationship. And since today is also Makha Bucha Day I have no school, which means I get to stay at home and prepare for my finals. Yippee (*roll eyes*)!
Even though you probably think I’m anti-valentine
which I probably am ,haha idk, I did make an Valentine inspired illustration (or more like doodle). My original plan was to make cute greeting cards (note: plural) AND stickers to go with each card (how dare I think I had enough time). However, I ran out of time and end up doing only one set of stickers, sorry… :’-(
I know that I’m very late in posting this and I’m terribly sorry that I didn’t finish this sooner. But I do hope you find another occasion to use these (maybe on your anniversary/friend’s b-day/next year’s Valentines or something). Also check out my fashion illustration from last year’s Valentine’s day.
To download this: First, click on the picture to get a larger and more detailed picture. Save/Open and print on card stock, sticker paper or just normal paper. You can either use it as sticker decorations or punch a hole, add a ribbon and make them into tags.
Hope you enjoy! ❤ If you like my work follow me and have a lovely day!
Kiss Hugs Kiss Hugs, Icie
So, I sketched this the other day because I couldn’t sleep and decide to color it with pastels and watercolor. As you can see I’m very obsessed with sunflowers right now… so you might see more of them in my work.
Also, I’m almost finish with my sophomore year, only 2 weeks left! I can’t believe it, I feel like it was just a few months ago that I became a high school student. Time flies by fast but I got to admit I’m pretty excited too! Because next year I won’t have to take anymore
head-explodes-I-can’t-take-it-anymore science, no more biology/chemistry/physics!!! And because I won’t be taking anymore science classes I should have loads more time to draw, paint and sew! YAY!!!
Hope you guys have a great week and take care! 🙂 ❤ Also if you like my work follow me for updates!
This fashion sketch is inspired by Valentine’s day and love in general. Using colors and shape from the general idea of the theme ‘Love’, I drew my fashion illustration with hearts, colors red and pink and used white to make the whole look come together. The two designs are inspired by street fashion of autumn/winter 2012 and spring/summer 2013. The material used were watercolor(garments) and copic markers (skin).

I decide to start a blog and to start I’m posting one of the first pictures I’ve scanned. I actually drew it for my teacher as a retiring present.
